This ended up being too large for my one year old cat. Works well for dogs.I looked everywhere to find a small, ceramic, puzzle-obstruction-bowl for my 10# Chiweenie. I finally came upon this item which is not very small nor is it ceramic but it does eliminate her problem with choking from eating like the cartoon Tasmanian Devil ripping through a pizza. I put three teaspoon size clumps of homemade, wet food in a triangle pattern between a couple of the obstructions and the inside of the bowl. Then I put about a 1/2 size clump in the middle of the dish. I fill the bowl about 1/4" deep with warm water (she does not drink out of her water bowl so I have to give her a bunch of water with her food). Amazingly, it works! She eats much more slowly, drinks all of the water and does not choke. I'm not crazy about feeding her out of a plastic bowl. But this is the best solution I could find.Its okay the water part doesn't work how it's supposed to but it works for what I need it for.I know this isn’t necessarily a product flaw but because it’s so lightweight my cat learned that he can just flip the bowl and eat all of his foodToo big for a medium size pet.I bought this for my fat cat, but it's such a big bowl that it doesn't really help them slow down their eating. I gave it to my sister who has a dog. Works much better for big dogs.This slow feeder is as described but not quite as needed. It says it has rubber trim to keep it from sliding. It does have rubber trim, but it does not stop it from sliding. The cat pushes it all over which is particularly problematic in our house since we keep her dish up on a table, otherwise the dog eats her food. We ended up cutting a wooden board to fit and drilling through the center then we use plasticine clay to keep it in place on the side table.Not sure if our cat is dimwitted but it definitely took her a few days to figure it out, also we had to move it to the center so she can get around all four sides. She hasn't figured out how to get food from the far side and has to walk around.That said, it now takes her three times as long to eat her food and she seems quite happy scooping out the kibble and throwing them out of the bowl before eating them.Très déçu par le produit il est juste immense et n’a donc pas d’utilité pour un chat !!! C’est vraiment pas normal de ne pas pouvoir se faire rembourser !Gamelle au top, j'en ai pris deux et mes chats ne se gavent plus jusqu'a vomir!Cette gamelle est probablement très bien pour un chien mais elle n’est pas du tout adaptée pour un chat; la mienne arrive simplement à attraper les croquettes centrales, ni la bouche ni les pâtes n’arrivent à accéder aux côtés. De plus, pas de petits patins antidérapants pour éviter qu’elle ne glissePour manger sainement, sans gloutonnerie, sans couteau ni fourchetteDommage qu’on ne puisse pas retourner l’article car ne convient pas pour mon chat, trop grand….
