I like that is tall enough for my dog.This is the 2nd elevated dog dish I purchased from this company. It is one of the few brands that offers a height sufficient for my dogs. Unfortunately, the XL gets sold out quickly. Some have complained that the finish scratches off the bowl and ends up in the dog food. No issues with that so far and 1st bowl is over 1 yr old. However, I also chose the stainless steel and the white bowl. It is pretty sturdy, doesn't get knocked down when they eat aggressively, I like how it how has a small profile, and doesn't take up much room.The rubber band was not on the bowl or in the boxSturdy product however was missing one rubber cap for the base/leg. For the amount I spent I wish I wasn't complaining about such a petty thing however feeder is unbalanced without it and makes noise when my boy is eating. Same thing when I order for my smaller little guy, feeder was missing two rubber caps. I was able to leave a comment for the seller on the small feeder I bought but there is no option to leave a comment/message on the large feeder.For some reason, they put this on sale for $11 one day, so I bought two so I would have two at my mom's house and the two I already had at my house. The dimensions in the description say it's about 10x10x10 inches which is the same as the bowls I already had. When these arrived in a ginormous box the size of a 2 drawer file cabinet, I wondered what they sent me. These things are about 10 inches wide, but about 19 inches tall! My female Black Lab can't even get in it, much less my smaller Lab mix. I'll have to cut the legs about half way down to make them usable for my dogs. For what it's worth, the description is the same on the manufacturer's web site also.Looks good, is stable and a useful height for large dog BUT the orange paint peels off too easily.Just the right height for my Great Dane mix. Wanted a different stand but it was not the right height. The bowl seems to be wearing well - no peeling. Easy to clean and I got it at a GREAT price. Looks better than the contraption I came up with.These are perfect! Thought they might be just a little too high but I was happy to see that they are the exact perfect height! My dogs chins are just higher than the top of the bowls, so they barely have to lower their heads to eat. And so much cheaper! The stores have nothing close to this height, and all cheap plastic. The color of the bowls is amazing, so vibrant! And the paws pressed into the mold of the bowls are cute but not overboard.
