The bottle looks to be well made. I thought this was a double insulated vacuum sealed bottle but it's not. It's a silicone sock over a one layer stainless steel bottle which still sweats on the outside. It's definitely convenient and my dog loves it. It's easy to fill and pour out water and ice. Very easy to clean. I've tied a paracord as a lanyard which I can wear cross body for easy carrying.I’ve been using this every day for the past month or so and it’s been perfect.Most bottles in this category don’t hold up well but this one is durable ??Great way to carry your pet water with you. A bit on the heavy side.I hike a lot with my dog, and also take her a lot to the dog beach. I have a smaller dog water bottle with a built in silicon cup, but it doesn't hold enough water for longer days, especially since there is no way to get the water back into the bottle once it has been poured. This Kong bottle is as durable as I would expect from a Kong product, and has great capacity to it, and my beagle figured out the new bowl system very easily. It is also easy to pour water back into the bottle if she doesn't drink it. The only downside for me is that the silicon coating on the outside (while attractive and probably helping with the durability) is that it makes it a little harder to easily slip into a water bottle pocket on my daypack or backpack, requiring two hands to get it to slide in. On the upside, once in, it is less likely to slide out on its own, due to the "sticky" surface.So convenient to take on walks with our dogs or trips to the dog park! I like the carabiner feature so I don’t always have to shove it into a pocket.Make no mistake. It's a large water bottle, but it's SO good because it has a large enough opening to easily put ice in to chill the water inside. On a hot summer day, believe me your pup will love how cool the water is.While this was great quality it was too large and heavy to wear on a hike when trying to pack light.Love the bottle it keeps water cold/cool for days even when left in the car! Only downside is it sweats, which I wouldn't have expected for this type of bottle.I already had one of these just bought anotherRobust as you would expect from KongNeeded a non-destructive water bottle since my dog has a penchant for chewing on all things plastic. (RIP 1st water bottle.)The concept is good. It appears sturdy. Doesn’t appear to leak. Unfortunately, the design itself isn’t without flaws.It’s awkward to hold onto if you have smaller hands…especially since mine didn’t come with the carabiner like it advertises (hence the lower stars.) It is also much heavier to carry when filled with water vs. the other plastic water bottles on the market but we’re comparing apples to oranges here. Plastic vs. stainless steel. The rubber/silicone? sleeve on the outside of the metal bottle doesn’t fit snuggly on mine making it unstable and feeling like it’ll tilt over easily on it’s own.Will I buy again? Maybe. I really wanted to like this since the comparables on the market feels overpriced for pretty much a similar product. It really depends on how well it holds up. My main concern is the quality of the stainless steel. If it is low, it’ll rust in no time since the rubber/silicone sleeve is loose on mine and can easily trap water. At least there are tiny holes on the bottom of the sleeve to allow a bit of drainage? Time will tell.I’ll probably keep this since I desperately need a water bottle for my walks with my dog. Off to shop for a new carabiner! Boo on Kong for not providing one.My needs...1. Keep the water cool enough on a warm day2. Can travel well with usIt worked well to keep the water cool. Was worried about the cup being the feeding bowl, but it fits the mouth well without spilling water when the dogs sips. The rubber finish around - not sure if it is to keep the temperature inside intact, but also covers the dings (did not stop from the metal taking a ding - we could see on the inside of bottle).Cons: The rubber finish around makes it difficult to pull out from the car cup holders, but it ends up gripping the side surfaces well. Also, the wider bottle with rubber finish also makes it difficult to fit into the backpack side pockets. The carabiner addition though comes handy to either let them hang on the dog leash, or on the backpack loops.Despite that little awareness info at the end, I rate is 5 stars. This price from Kong is a win for me. The red color is a bright cherry color. Matches well with the rest of the red theme we have for our furry family member.First of all, design is really good. The shape is easy to carry and the rubber "insulation" is grippy.The bad. This is advertised as "insulated" which I assume is because of the rubber casing. This does nothing to insulate the fluid inside and will sweat constantly on a hot day if you put cold water in it. Not good if you want to put it in a bag with other stuff.The really bad. The one I got was defective. The cap tightens only to a certain point and then pops off the threads. If you tighten it only to the point where it holds, it leaks. If you tighten if further the cap pops off. So basically it's useless. Now, as another reviewer said, if you try and return it, the system says that this item isn't eligible for return. I called Amazon and they offered to replace or refund without problem (kudos to Amazon). I've asked for a replacement because I do like the design and would like to try one that works. Will update once it's received.Bouteille très étanche, et garde l’eau froide longtemps. Faites de matériaux robuste, difficile de l’abîmer à cause du revêtement. Peut importe où je vais avec mon fidèle compagnon, celle-ci fait partie de nos déplacements quotidiens. J’ai essayé quelques modèles et marques différentes par le passé, mais ceux-ci se brisaient facilement ou encore, l’eau devenait chaude rapidement. Jusqu’à présent, avec cette bouteille, je ne suis pas déçu.Je recommande fortement!
