I use this bowl as a water bowl for two large breed dogs - one elderly German Shepherd and a 50 lb Rottweiler puppy. I needed one that could hold a large amount of water and could be used by two large dogs simultaneously. I've owned this bowl for five months now and am very impressed. Both dogs can drink from it at the same time and the water usually lasts two full days before the bowl needs to be refilled.The design is very attractive and sturdy. There are no faults in the construction of the bowl and there is no rusting whatsoever. It's also very easy to clean; I just throw it in the dishwasher once a week. My favorite feature, by far, is the non-skid rubber bottom. True to the manufacturer's claims, this bowl does not slide an inch, even with the dogs occasionally knocking into it.As a side note, although my review is about how my two large breeds use the bowl, I should note that the bowl is short enough that smaller animals can use it, too. The Rottweiler puppy has been drinking out of it since she was 2 months old. My Chihuahua and cat even sneak drinks from it every now and then, even though they have their own bowl.The only issue I have is that it is possible - though not easy - for dogs to tip the bowl over. My Rottweiler puppy recently tipped it over with her foot and all of the water came spilling out. (The bowl was a little less than half-way full at the time.) I didn't take a star off for this because it has only happened once within the several months I've owned it, which is pretty good when you consider who uses it.I consider this bowl to be one of my best pet purchases and will not hesitate to purchase another one should the need arise. This is an excellent, high quality product.2022 UPDATE: Almost 7 years later, and this bowl is still going strong. The dogs I originally purchased it for are no longer with us, but it's now being put to use by two new large dogs. It's withstood years of dishwashing with no rust or any signs of wear. Highly recommend
